Editor’s Blog: Quick check in From Davos
26/12/2009 (Pally) Conditions have changed somewhat since we were both here last week. The freezing level has been bouncing around all over the place, but finally after torrential rain on Christmas eve, the temperatures went down again, and there was upto 30cm of fresh in places during Christmas day.
Christmas day, after the rain turned to snow...
Conditions are not too bad now, but the holiday ‘people’ traffic is starting to make itself apparent, and probably won’t slacken till after New Year….it seems also that the forecast is for further fluctuations in the freezing level, with a mixture of sun and various amounts of precipitation in the next few days….it could be time to get the skins out…
About to drop into the trees above Klosters (26/12/2009)
Snow in the trees is pretty good (26/12/2009)...we'll just have to see what the next days bring.
